Looking for the best college in Gauteng? Start with these checks
Compare colleges in Gauteng by programme approval, practical learning, full fees and the fit with your career goals.
AIET Editorial Team ·
The best college for you should fit the work you want to learn, your starting point and your circumstances. A strong advertisement is a beginning, not the evidence. When comparing colleges in Benoni, Ekurhuleni or wider Gauteng, ask the same questions of every provider.
Ask for evidence you can compare
- What exact qualification or skills programme will I study?
- Which current approval covers that programme and site?
- How much supervised practical learning is included?
- How are assessments and any workplace components organised?
- What is the total cost, including equipment and separate assessments?
- What award will I receive, and how can it be verified?
Why put AIET on your shortlist?
Our story began with boilermaking, and practical engineering remains a flagship focus. IT is another major part of our direction, with documented scope in cloud administration, cybersecurity, data science and programming. Our public register lets you inspect programme-specific references instead of relying on a blanket claim.
Visit with a plan
Bring your questions, school results and a realistic travel budget. Ask about the current intake and timetable, and compare the written answer with your other options. You can review the 2026 fees before contacting reception. Our confidence in AIET is an invitation to examine the fit, not a guarantee of employment or an independent national ranking.
