Our Story
A professional institution built for occupational excellence
African Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) is a Benoni-based private training institution built around one purpose: to prepare learners for real occupational competence. The institution was formed to close the gap between classroom learning and workplace readiness by combining accredited programmes, practical training, learner administration, academic governance and industry-focused skills development.
AIET has grown through disciplined compliance and structured operations. Our work is guided by QCTO accreditation, assessment centre responsibilities, internal quality assurance, academic planning and learner support systems. Each programme is positioned to give students a clear route into technical careers, health and social services, digital fields, engineering trades and occupational training pathways.
The institution operates from two Benoni campuses: Swan Campus at 18 Swan Street and Woburn Campus at 48 Woburn Avenue. These campuses give learners access to administration support, classrooms, workshops, digital systems, library and printing services, media support, reception services and campus-based coordination.
Our corporate culture is professional, accountable and learner-centred. From admissions, registration and examinations to curriculum delivery, campus operations, media production and student services, AIET continues to build a credible institution that serves learners, employers, communities and South Africa's skills development agenda.
